Hi guys & girls, This is our project car that me and my son Shaun (ORSM EL) are rebuilding.

The reason for this project: Shaun went and had a look at my photos from the 70's and found some pics of my 2 XB V8's

* 1974 XB GS 2 door coupe
* 1974 XB GS 4 door sedan

They were amazing machines and i said to my self... Why not do a project with my son so thats the story

I got this car from a guy who works at SUPERROO FALCON spares and he had used it as a burnout car. He blew the motor and just left the car sitting behind his shed letting it get surface rust.

Enough talk so here are pics of the START.

Posting on behalf of my dad who is up north AGAIN!

We got the orange one Displayed in his sig but then sold it as it has way more rust that the one we got now. This has surface rust (On the paint) but no rust inside the channels if thats wat it is called. Other car had a real bad back end with lots of rust in the seals and stuff. This one doesnt. So we sold the orange one, sold the wheels, some parts and the body. The worst thing was that we had stripped it all down like wat you see above and then got rid of it

Brad: If he likes cars then it will be fun. I myself is having heaps of fun and so is dad as it is a good reason have a beer

he loves his cars,especially fords and i hate spiders too,the inside of the escort im pikin up has cobwebs all through the inside and all in the engine bay cos its been sitting for so long so ill be attacking it with a can of fly spray also!!!

Yeh this car had heaps inside and in the engine bay oh and heaps under the car, Not to mention the wasps nest in side the front indicator under the bumper... I also used a can of fly spray for that too

When dad comes back to perth on monday we shall be taking the springs off

You also hate it every time i start up the grinder. I really need to get a video of you running away making sissy girly noises hahahahahaha

No update on XB yet because ive been stuffing around with shaun's EF/EL XR6. What a easter. No easter eggs for me!
