is rising-rate (1:1 I think) for the turbo, with adjustable base-pressure and a port to plug-in the gauge to see what it's doing

It's plumbed into the return line off the bottom of the std reg, so it still opens like normal and thinks it's doing the right thing... but the Aeromotive one stays shut and holds pressure in the rail. Just a slightly different way to avoid cutting the end of the rail and mess about with fittings, welding etc.
