as topic fellas i have decided to chuck the auto before i put the engine in the xf so im chasing a 4 speed single rail with v8 bellhousing for the clevo. also need any gear i can get ie clutch, cables, pedals etc

will mention it to a mate and see if he's interested in selling... I'd say don't get your hopes up haha but I'll ask him anyway.

All v8 xr-xe manuals are hydrolic not big issue just 1" hole were the clutch go though and two small where the master cyl bolts on.

have made a hydrolic pedal box from cable before just a matter of moving the pivot and bit of chopping and welding so if you cant find one let me know.


would sell you mine if didnt just get my xf started after 5+ years and didnt spend welll over $2500 on box/recon/shifter/11"clutch etc

also dont make my mistake and start without starter motor spacer thay dont like being ingaged at 3000rpm

and if you can toploader from xb or early can take more punishment

hey mate, i got all the bits needed for a clevo manual conversion (i think) including sandwich plate. i'll try get some photo's tomorrow for ya.

excellent whatever makes it easier, definately prefer to get everything needed in one go.

i'll try lay it all out cos i should have everything needed. so im guessing the auto comes with the eng as pictured if i wanna swap! haha

hardest thing to find is the bell housing flywheel clutch fork rest can be use box the from 6cyl xr-f.

thats what I did till stuffed the single rail that came with the 6cyl


least there should be easyer to find that 12years back when got mine.
