Guys,

I have for sale the standard Brembo's off myBF MkII Typhoon. They have done less than 20,000kms & are in as new condition.
Come with calipers, rotors, lines, pads, brackets etc & are ready to bolt up.
Will also consider selling without rotors for a lesser value if the buyer wants to stick some DBA (or similar) rotors on...

$1850 ono

Will also go on other cars, just need to get brackets made up or buy genuine Brembo brackets for ~$150.

People must want to stop well along with doing performance mods??

I'd love them but i have no money for them. Prob the same with other people.

Free bump!!

Xran- 06-09-2009
yeah I'd love to grab them as well, used to have the same brakes on my ute and they're awesome... just a shame they don't fit under FTR's and need the Brembo-compliant rims, which I also don't have money for right now sad.gif

Brembo Complient rims?? how so... do you mean size wise?

Xran- 06-09-2009
yeah they've got to be a certain size and also have the right amount of clearance because the brembos are a lot chunkier - that's what Paul at Tyrepower told me anyway...

Derrty- 06-09-2009
hmmmm tempting but then i gota change rims to brembo clearance so its a no from mees. good luck with the sale though

Correct. The brakes are a lot chunkier, so you need to find a rim that has the spoke on the edge (no dish), or a thin spoke. Some moron that bought the same rims you have Jase, but in 18s had to grind away on the calipers of his BA, so I doubt your rims will fit either. sad.gif

They will need to be 18" minimum to fit over the calipers as far as diameter goes. Any of the FPV rims should fit.

yeah I think the "FPV" upgraded brake package is the same as the Brembo option on the T-series.

Azzuro's will fit over Brembos... sad.gif *refrains from crapping on about it, AGAIN*

On second thoughts, I'm going to get new rims for the EF anyway... so how much cheaper than the $1850 are you willing to go for the calipers only? And was this just the fronts or is this all 4 corners?

final question is how long before you need the full amount?

Ask Tochii...He machined ONE of his SETS of rims some how to fit his brembos on the FG pretty sure.

Xran- 06-09-2009
yeah it's all good Glenn... I'll need at least 18's to clear them, and I think Ferrari rims should clear Brembos wink.gif

I'm pretty sure the AU T-series Brembo option is the same as the FPV ones. Don't quote me on that one though. I would have thought you would have trouble getting calipers to fit the eseries. I know rotors are a problem unless you have GT stub axles. sad.gif

nah nah nah. the FG 19s (factory) fouled on the calipers, so i sold them.

the rims i had machined, where the skyrine rims, because the wheel hub diameter was a tad small for the falcon hubs. nothing to do with brakes.

Yeah its the way the spindles are made.

They need to be modified regardless of what bigger brakes you put on as there is a lug each side of the caliper to support the pads and slides.

With the way its made, its in the way, so it has to dissapear when fitting bigger rotors.
