mines and ex pursuit as well they kindley left me teh siren

got some shiny bits today, thanks to jeff aka XH5LWEPN. probably try and put em in next break will have to go get some gaskets and watnot then even put a shiny intake pipe on!

well went looking for a a panel from the wreckers but no luck in any just plain white which is wat i though they would have the most of?! sorted of got it straightened ala getting really angry with it! its way outta whack but at least i can get outta the drivers door! (sick of the funny looks at the shops!!!)
back to the good news went to BPT for some gaskets for the new t/b none in at the moment but had some very good looking blue silicone hoses so had to buy! then i can give the big girl a birthday when i get back from work in a couple of weeks.

well finaly got my a*** into gear after really seeing how bad the hose on the thermo housing looked whilst i was up at chris's workshop getting my plugs and leads changed (cheers mate, feels heaps better!!) look at all the corrosion where the hose goes on!


and whilst i was fixing that i put the new hoses on i got, only drama was one of the clamps they supplied for the hose going from the water pump was to small! quick dash down the road got it sorted but.


and whilst i was in kalamunda i went to the wreckers and got a new povo pack grille just till i find my fairmont one i really want. (the bigger pic does it more justice!) and i know the bumper is crap but that will be getting sorted soon hopefully

Have you considered cutting up your grille and replacing it with like silver or black mesh?

yeh thought about it but its not really my thing and i wanna keep the blue oval in pride of place, the fairmont grille im looking for is the black honeycomb one with the ford badge in the middle, like this...

can anyone help with the best choice of headsm as u may know im looking to get some more power and i've been looking at the AFR stud mount 58cc heads but i've come across some victor jnr aluminium heads from rocket ind they dont tell the price but im sure the would be cheaper than importing the afr ones, has anyone had any experience with either of the two?

The AFR 1399's or i think the 1402's would be a good choice. With the Edelbrocks youd be better off with the Performer range of heads.
