Had this for a little while now... Recently read the owners book that came with it and discovered how to put it into "maximum performance" mode and makes me VERY happy in pants. The only mods done to it are some badges under the side indicators/repeaters/whatever, a Clarion DXZ-666MP head unit, and the original owner from over East ripped out the airbox and threw it away to put a pod filter on it.

If I hang onto the beast then I think I'll put some other rims on it and get the Azzuro's repaired and stashed away. Lowering 20-25mm would toughen its stance even further, and depending on the outcome of my exhaust "modifications" next week a twin system might go on it courtesy of Mettams Kelmscott. Currently it has twin 2.5" thru cats and 3" single out from there with rattling cats - hence my "modification" The only other things that have crossed my mind is a stereo for it, because it's s*** getting out of Monty and into this trying to crank up a good song!! and a tune to get the most out of it.

However saying all that, it's all extra money that could be injected into Monty fixing her up and making it a torque-monster! Will be weighing up my options and deciding where to go from there.

There are 248 utes with the 5.6L and however many TS/TE50's are kicking around also. Ahhhhh the last of the Windsor's. Can't wait to hear it after next weekend, the countdown is on!!

nice to see something differnet jais. I havent seen under th bonnet before it looks very tidy. Would be a bold decision to put it away in storage now and reap the benefits in 20 years time

Did a little exhaust mod while down home over the weekend and got a short snippet of how it sounded straight off the back of the extractors. I'm still creaming my pants over it, and hopefully Chris will come in here for a looky and confirm it in case you don't hear him at the end of the video

Well it was running like a bag of crap the last few days... Kept stalling everywhere, wouldn't idle, wouldn't rev, barely got to pick up my rims for Monty with the bloody thing...

Took the intake apart cleaned TB and ISC etc etc, no difference. Cleaned all the plugs and sensors in the intake, nothing. Ripped the air filter off to see what it was like, clean as a whistle... tried running without it anyway and it made it worse. Next step was fuel.

Smelt fine in the tank... smelt damn good actually haha, checked at the back of the fuel reg there was fuel, fuel pump was still priming so decided to check the filter.....



oops...... so 1x Ryco part Z-373 later and 1x new pod filter and she's all sweet again. Still want to get an airbox put back in it, still trying to get in touch with Jamie "jimt3te50" about what he's done to his and I reckon that might be a goer.
