If its the mount im thinking of, its a common problem with the BA sedans, Ford can fix it, im sure one of the suspension places might be able too, IIRC Ford made a 'better' one that was spose to replace the shitty one. theres a bit of info on FFAU about it. If the bolt snaps off, it can cause the rear of the car to crab about.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing Jase, but he mentioned it was the bush. Now obviously if your mounting bolt is stuffed, it'll give it some play and that could root the bush... That'd be my guess anyway.

Very very common mate

Id be looking into seeing if Nolothane etc make one, the rubber mount doesnt seem to take it very well.

Another common one is the diff bolt breaking and the whole housing floats around. I think Ford have got stronger bolts but you have to take most of the ass end out to change it as its pretty hard up against the spare wheel well.

Ive had this happen twice on my bf xr8 , like the others have said its really common. I was told there was no after market ones yet , but i dont know how true this is, as i would opt for after market if available!

There are aftermarket ones, have a poke around the XR6 Turbo forums, heaps of cars on there have snapped them. I'm suprised mine hasn't gone yet *touch wood*
