getting my cat back done with 2.5" piping for 300bucks.. is this cheap guys? and does anybody reccommend any particular workshops?

is that supply and fit at a shop? If so it's a good price.

If you're buying it for that and then getting it fitted it's still not bad, expect anywhere from $50-100 fitting.

Where abouts do you live? Any of the Mettam's shops are pretty good and they're spread pretty well around Perth.

I paid $215 for a 2.5" manta cat-back with a single straight through muffler, makes my ED sound like a V8, very mean note. That was a few years ago though and directly from their workshop in Cunderdin. So $300 is a good price, as for fitting it takes about 10 minutes to take the old one off and new one on yourself.

One warning about auto falcons............ the exhaust will probably drone a lot if it's loud. The cab rumbling at 1500rpm will send you insane unless like me you enjoy the growl.

My EA has a secondhand exhaust i bought..........extractors with 2.5" cat-back with a straight though muffler and a hotdog......... sounds crap, 1 muffler max imo, hotdogs sound shite.

i got mine on my ef supplied and fitted at mettams in belmont $250. that was bout 2 years ago but. on my xh i got stung with $400 for a manta system out in katanning. was alot of freight and labor as its a rural area

Yeah $300 isn't a bad price at all. What brand is it, did they say?

I got a lukey 2.5" catback supplied and fitted for $300 down here in Bunbury, definetly a good price. Couldn't recommend anyone in Perth though.

if your close or dont mind a drive mate i would suggest you seek out our sponsors, mindarie exhaust cant fault them at all on their work.

they did the exhaust on my fairlane and its top work plus lee and tiana are good people to have a chat with.

mUTHA yes mate you got bent over because of freight... and also I think there's only 1 shop in Katanning - Katanning Exhaust if memory serves. Dean was the guy I used to deal with and he was a bit of a pain on the phone, but other than that seemed alright.

I'm thinking either Manta cat-back for the EL or if not then get a mate to bend something up. Will have a chat with Lee and Tiana see what they can do as well
