Yep, the lifter must be bled down. But there is NO clearance between rocker and valve tip on a hyd roller set-up, thats only solid. Once the lifter is bled down and the rocker your adjusting is on the opposite side of the lobe on the cam, hold the pushrod between your fingers and twist it while turning down the adjuster on the rocker. Once you feel the pushrod getting abit of friction from the rocker adjuster, stop there then set your pre-load. Which may be a 1/4, 1/2 or a full turn further. Then lock it up. |
