Nah, what happend, ive pulled the 1.6s off the EF, and fitted the Yellaterror 1.72Adjustables off the T2 motor, now i got the 1.6Crane ones that i wanted to fit to the T2 motor,

Before i fitted them either way, i checked pushrods on both engines and both are they exact same lengh. but in saying that, i had to adjust the adjuster on them a fair way down compared to what they where set at on the sprints engine.

Don't you have to cut the absolute f*** out of e-series shock towers to fit a clevo in?

People dont seem to understand that a e-series engine bay is wider then the Xa/f, its the k-frame at the bottom and the steering shaft that upsets it,

I was under the impression that you just had to make some engine mount adapters to bring the engine mount further forward...? It'd be different... Not too many done like that...

skitzophreNic- 06-21-2009
oh this one looks to concervitive. lol

Well few more things on the way, finaly souced some engine mounts and nolathane trailing arms, all used but you get that when the mounts are never stocked any where in perth and there F******G expensive.

Got my shims to correct the rocker arm alignment,

Just need to order my timing chain, then a few gaskets ti get the engine all back together

Also i may get a new flywheel insted of using the stock one which needs machining anyway

skitzophreNic- 09-12-2009
finaly got the engine in the bay
