Am flying to QLD same day return.... this Saturday to buy an XB Coupe. Need to know if there are any clubs that can supply me with a concessional membership letter when I join so I can get the car registered next week. Any comments or advice woould really be appreciated. We have 2 kids so looking for a club that has family drives etc. Cheers Peter

I assume you're talking about concessional registration? If so try Ace Ford Club, fairly sure my mate had an XA GT and used them to get his concessional registration.
You will still have to do the pits but they are much more lenient with conc. registration. However make sure all the normal stuff is in good working order ie lights, indicators, no major oil leaks, no whopping great rust holes etc
Remember there are rules with conc. registration in terms of the amount of driving you are technically allowed to do. So make sure it isn't your daily driver.

BTW this club is family friendly and your always welcome to come on cruises, I struggle to make them cos I live so far away but the couple I have been on have been great and there are other people (including myself) who have kids and bring them along.
Also you make damn sure you post up some pics of the coupe, tis my all time favourite car and looking to buy one myself when I find a spare 30g or whatever they are going for these days
