I'd be going the V2 blower, any smaller and they run out of volume they can supply.

Looking forward, going to be a handful to say the least. biggrin.gif

havent posted anything recently so its time for an update, in the next few months at some point i will be taking the xr6 off the road. there are a few things that need to be done to get this thing back to being a real beast and hopefully i will have it ready by xmas smile.gif

new paint, cleaning the engine bay, finishing the interior, getting the engine internals checked to run a 125/150 shot of N2O, new gearbox and getting the wheels painted in diamond black (black chrome)

Daynesy- 02-23-2009
your painting it again? can i have your old paint then biggrin.gif.
Nitrous sound good, it was an option for me down the line but dont think i am now.
t56?

Moody- 02-23-2009
if you change box, keep it 5 speed. t56's have a long first gear

XRated6- 02-24-2009
not sure on what gearbox yet, was thinking 6 speed because of my 3.91 diff but i really just need something strong enuf to handle 350-400 rwhp

definately need a new pressure plate very soon though, cant put my foot down in 1st anymore sad.gif

Daynesy- 02-24-2009
If the t56 has long first gear, your dif partnered with your flywheel should shorten it out i'd think... stupid gearboxes...

Let us know how that clutch goes Dave, i had the same one in the ED and it was in there a whole week before being replaced mad.gif

Kilma- 03-26-2009
Extreme is what I have in mine Chris. Don't ask details because I don't know. Seems to work well so far. biggrin.gif

WILS_88- 03-27-2009
Yeah but its my car so of course it doesnt work tongue.gif

Its got an Xtreme organic HD in it atm and its alright but not what id call spectacular.

Keep us updated Dave

Awesome clutch mate, i've had that in my ute for the ast two years and have just bought another one for the TKO.
Dont worry bout the Seco cover from CBA either. They exactly the same as the Extreme ones but not purple lol, if you peel the little Extreme stickers off their covers it has Seco stamped in behind them lol.
Oh and I also got Brendan to modify the clamp load to 1300kg, grabbed hard, never slipped on me.

clutch went in yesterday and i finally took it for a spin this morning, and f*** me its insane. the old clutch was rooted, i have no idea how i didnt break something lol

that hand is awsome... i slaved away at this for hours, while you sat on the grass drinking rockstar...

nasty looking crack there :S. Is it cracked right through? How was the clutch?

XH5LWEPN- 03-30-2009
So you were already running the same clutch?

Damn that crack in the rim is killer!!! Lucky i didnt buy them wadesta/LOL.gif

XRated6- 03-30-2009
the crack goes right through, i highly doubt it is repairable too. i think its time to get a nice set of black wheels. as for the clutch... it feels like im driving a whole different car, and i love it!
