Hi,

Was just wondering, on the grill on the front, there is the grill in the center of a "border" which is colour coded with the car. On the Ghia, its chrome. My question is, "Is the 'border' made from aluminium (think it is says me and Moody)?
Thus instead of finding a ghia grill border, i can sand blast it and the polish is up myself to a high polished finish. Then get a chrome grill kinda think with Ford or Fairmont badge to go in the center.

Yes the outer part of the grill is an alloy of some type, I suppose it could be polished but getting it chrome plated would be easier, dont know how much it would cost though.
