im adding a GT front bar to my ute while its in the crash repairers i think that bar is rather similar to the typhoon?

i wanted the typhoon but they had a GT laying around they no longer need so was getting it for cheaper

you know those things you clip your soft cover on to on the side of the ute? (my mind has gone blank sorry haha)

how did you get them off and plug them when you got your hard lid? cause well... i'll be getting one soon!!!

think they are juz little plugs u push in... i got a couple on my ute (not every hole is plugged, the guy before me didnt finish plugging them) but pretty sure he said they juz push in.. they are juz plastic, might be those plastic plugs that push out to hold themselves in once they've gone in the hole

You gotta drill out the toggles - its pretty easy just be careful and use pliers to hold it still- the last thing you want is the toggle to spin on your paintwork!

Then you buy the little plugs from THE UTE SHED for around 30$ including postage. Paint them with touch up paint and clip them in !!

(ford will charge you 70$ for the plugs )

and the second last thing you want to do is put the drill throught the side of the ute so be weary of that...

worst feeling, taking to ya car with a drill!

Just wait until you Drill into the Dash!!

i juz need the rest of the plugs.. i have touch up paint n the holes already the ute shed ay.. will check it out

hahaha yeh i had to when we put the shift kit in, we also took to it with the angle grinder to get the stupid rivets out of the case for the cover of the ecu...
