i have an explorer manifold i bought to go on my xr8, but now i am getting rid of the car, i don't need the manifold.
I was told that the top half is off an el, so all the vacuum pipes work out easier and the bottom half is off a port matched 220kw AU.
The top half has been started to be polished.

hey dude thats a cast gt 40 manifold, comes standard on au 220 upper and lower are matched, good response wit bigger throttle body

Lower manifold - GT-40, Cobra, Explorer = Same, same.
Upper - GT-40, Cobra, Explorer = All different,

This upper is the Explorer. Well at least in Australia its known as that.

apparantly they had massive dramas wit the factory spec tyres blowing out on highways all over america, people died due to rollovers an stuff. massive recalls massive lawsuits cost ford a packet....

Good luck finding a wrecker that will seperate the whol einlet manifold from the motor.
I bet there isnt one out there that will.
Hence waiting 20,000yrs for one.
So i spose the answer is, you CANT get one cheaper from a wrecker

even 500 is a great price. seen them go for a fair bit more on Egay
