Found my way over here from the XR6T.com forum, where i've organised a few track days etc. Know D, Mark, Zaff and Mike and i'm sure there are a few others floating around too!
Look forward to heading a long to a few cruises or meet ups as well!
in 2007 i sold this: For this: 36K for a brand new, non demo car was a bargain of a life time. My aim was always to keep the car look as factory as possible. 18% tint, lowered with factory 18's running KU36 semi's.
Engine mods are so far very basic. Swaybars, Rapid FMIC, injectors, F6 intake and XFT tune running 10psi. Car is currently making 291rwkw.
Power levels are being held back by the standard clutch. It should be dead by now but its not... Once i sort out either an AP clutch and MW option 3, we'll retune with a surge tank, 4" dump pipe and straight through pipe replacing the cat. Will make good power without costing the earth in theory!
Cheers,
Mat

Thanks guys!
Tocchi, you know i'm going to bite haha. The core is Plazmaman so thats good but i certainly wouldnt buy Rapid again. Took 6/7 weeks to arrive, missing bits etc. Shoulda just bought Process West!!
Dan, it was just a normal WRX but it was totally different to the ford. Far lighter (1220kgs wet weight), reved, handled better and the build quality is far far better. Mind you my first car was a baby blue XF falcon that had averaged only 10K kms per year for its entire life, so i've always been a ford fan As in sure you know, the XR makes for a great street car that makes easy power and is still a fun car to drive!
I know the feeling Mike, work has been chaotic.. What reccession! Weekend cruises are getting harder due to early starts both days Are you going to any this weekend?
For those who are interested, that spot is near the restaurant in the new area of Burswood. Between the tennis centre and the Dome you turn in and theres a big round a bout and you can get through the bollards easily enough
