Got recommended to this site by a friend who attends my Youth Group.
Thought i'd join up and see what you lot are like.

General info:

I'm 17, still in school, and am saving for a car to buy mid/late next year.
Basically, I've taken a liking to the XR6T, and will probably buy a second hand one next year for about $25000.
If, i work my ass of enough. =D

I don't know much about the car, but for some reason, something draws my attention to it.

Hopefully over the next year or so I can learn a fair bit more about these beasts. =D

Welcome to the club mate! XR6T's are great! But as a first car could be a lot of trouble and get you into a lot of trouble. So if/when you get one take it easy and we'll see you at a event or cruise!

hey good choice, but not sure of the legalities around V8/ turbo cars and P platers anymore

Whats this about the P Plater laws?

It'll be mid to late next year before i actually buy the car , so ill be on my P2 as well, if that makes any difference?

Yeah, I'm looking to buy one as stock standard as possible, that way I can do it up as I please..

unfortunately, i know next to nothing about who to go to for these kinds of things, and what these improvements will do to the car, so that's why I've joined up here. =D

you have a year man, just read up some tech docos on here, learas much as you can about the motors and have a shot yourself there are plenty of ppl on here who love to give a hand to ppl willing to learn

its not as hard as you think once you get the drift of how stuff works
