I got dished 19s on mine and im quite happy with the ride. although saying ive never had 20s im quite happy with how it handles and also being quite smooth on the road. i would asume that 20s would be rough and also not sure about needing to rolling guards. dished 19s look almost like 20s but then again 20s r nice

yeah the only thing is going from 18's to 19's im not sure id notice the difference. i never used to be a big fan of 20's but ive found that dished ones give the rim a slightly smaller look which i think is good.
i hate rims that are basically a chrome dinner plate aswell eg most dolce rims

I just ordered my mate a set of 20" Speedy Cheetah's for his AU XR8. Will hopefully have tyres on them in a week or so, so when he does i'll get some pics up to see what you think.

i went for wide 19s, the 30 series tyre on the back lets you feel most bumps , i went for a wheel i havnt seen on any other car , also with 5 spokes ,and in a machined finish ,coz im not that big a fan on crome , and only minimal black on the face of the rim, also the deeper the dish is will always give the rim a smaller look as you stated (wild ef) but f*** what everyone else thinks and dont buy until your happy with what youve picked , anyway this is a pick of what i bought

20" Verde Kaos. awesome rims. Think theres some on EFECTIV? if your not happy with the size later, a white wall blows them up because of the polished lip. 245 30's and its a similar ride to 235/18/45. shit traction with the boot down tho.
