so with the upper window part... did you make that yourself? it looks alot like the one off the chrysler drifter from back in the day?
or did you go out hunting for one?

Yep, I'm pretty sure only XD and XE panelvans (which have the same backend shape) had the tray style door option. Not sure if you could use anything earlier easily because the shape was different.

so you used the tailgate of an XE aswell? or did you just use one of an XH ute?

I think the tailgate we got off an XH because it saved fixing therust on the XE, whicj needed a bit of work on the lid anyway.

i wasnt even half way home!!! and newman isnt even that big!!!
cracked windscreen and rear left window, frayed seat belt, no rubber on the brake pedal and they arnt happy with the latch on the back doors
i admit the back doors are f***ed, the seat belt is frayed, but the windscreen, they wouldnt listen to my reasoning as to why i havnt fixed it yet, because im driving back down to perth and didnt want to replace it twice, and the rear left, f*** me its not even the right window for this model, i bought the f***er like that!!!
boy am i glad they didnt check suspension or look at my power steering pump

ive got the car booked in to get a new windscreen on thursday, ive just blanked out the rear left side window (being made as a commercial vehicle this is completely legal:P), i have a seatbelt on order, im cleaning out the car tomoro so i will find the rubber bit off the brake pedal and its official, my rear door is just f***ed.
i have done a temporary quick fix of the power steering pump, hopefully that will hold, the rotors and brake pads will have to wait till i get to perth, aswell as new indicators. they work but they are f***ed out. i have replaced the blown high beam light, which turned out to be a 55W globe??? im pretty sure 55W is low beams?? is this supposed to be like that? it was the same for all the lights.
i am taking out the purple interior lights tomoro so they dont get picked on and im gonna order a new passengers side mirror (the glass bit) on thursday.
supposedly my rear tyres need to be changed according to my step dad but they can wait. they still have tread:P
and to make sure my car doesnt get confused with any other panel vans the same that may be running around, i am in the process of painting purple stripes up the bonnet. stripes that actually go with the shape of the bonnet along with the grooves:P they start 90ml thick at the top and end 140ml thick at the bottom
i only have one side atm and its nowhere near a professional job, im not looking to have a professional job on that bonnet as its near on f***ed out by stone chips:P
im doing the other side tomoro, hopwfully i can get it the same as the first side. haha
anywayz thats an update on whats happening with the car and whats going to happen with it:)
oh and i cant remember if i just mentioned this but its going for an inspection on monday:P
and they cant do me for the pod filter even tho its not bolted down in any way as it does not move as it is. the intake hose is obviously too thick and too hard to move:P

nah i dont have any pics just yet, hopefully will have ones of one stripe done in the next day or two... i will post it up then:P

ok as we speak the windscreen is being replaced and ill possibly have a new passengers side mirror (just the actual mirror part) made up...and the best part is they are moving the yellow sticker (or canary as they call it:P) to the top so i wont get screwed over as much at the inspection:D
