picked up my ba xr6 turbo last night, the story is: 2004 4spd auto i really wanted a manual but the 6 speeds were out of my price range. lightning strike. 72000kms prem sound 19inch rims, 275 rear tyres king spring superlows all around aftermarket grill set tint not sure what % but from some angles it looks f***in dark!
theres a key scratch down the drivers door that im getting touched up and a small dent and scratch on the rear bumper.
it drives really good it goes the hardest out of the other few turbos i looked at buying.
mods to come probably a second f6 intake, pod filter, high flow cat and exhaust then tune.
its my daily driver so i dont want it to silly

wild_ef- 07-31-2009

going to panelbeaters today to try and get a decent quote for a scratch on the drivers door to get repaired, someone took to it with a key by the looks of it
1LOUDXFUTE- 08-02-2009
you will need to get the door resprayed and probably a couple of other panels blended to get rid of it.
be careful when you take the mudflaps off, as they have probably worn through the paint and they leave nasty marks

Looks tops mate.... By the looks of it you're still in Rockingham? Let me know how you go with the scratch. I have a small 15mm gouge out of my paint in the big side panel on my ute that I want removed, I'll keep an eye out an "toot" when I see you. (I'm in a white VY SS ute on 20's so don't flick me off like other B series drivers do lol)
wild_ef- 08-03-2009
well i got quoted 350 today from carcraft in port kennedy the bloke there rekons they could blend it in no worries.
ive looked behind one of the mudflaps and your exactly right '1LOUDXFUTE' theres a scratch along the outline of it! f***! haha ill probs just leave them on then, they scrape everywhere though .
moody yeah im still around rocko lol shame :| ill keep a look out for your ute though i havent seen it around but. was your old car that blue ef ''ef effect' or something similar? used to see that around all the time.
Moody- 08-03-2009
yeah mate that was it. I used to see your old reddy/burgandy ef around alot too.
wild_ef- 08-03-2009
yeah thats my dads work car now haha i had the privilege if driving the old girl around for a week before i bought this. i think ill always have a soft spot for the e series.
wild_ef- 08-05-2009
im craving a flash tuner already haha, is it the same box that comes with the generic tunes and then you can custom tune it later? or are they two seperate items?
first though.
ive noticed that when braking and sharp turning at the same time it sounds like the tyres rubbing against the guard or something. (always does it when i slow down and go up my driveway) i wouldnt have thought the guards would need rolling? being only on superlows and 19s, the tyres are 245x30 aswell. is this common? it could possibly be the mudflaps fault...
the front brakes are abit wobbly like the discs need skimming. that doesnt bother me because i could get that done at work.
radiator hoses look abit old so i want to change all them before one goes. handbrake needs a re tighten
then i want the doors scratch fixed.
then its mod time
wild_ef- 08-05-2009
ah 2 more things the bottom spotlight is cracked and the lower grill thats been put on the car is silver but close up you can see its got rust forming on it so ill respray that.
anyone know how to get those bottom grills out?
peZZa- 08-05-2009
take the number plate off and pull the black plastic bar off, just pull towards you has about 3 or 4 clips, then u should see a couple screws holding on the grill.
