Once it was painted I had a crack at doing the pin stripes.







Also have a look at the difference in the chrome bumpers after I sanded them .All the chrome on the car was given the same treatment.

Just got to take your time and do as much as you can yourself.Saves heaps of money that way.I put hundreds of hours into this rebuild and did everything except build the engine and put the GT stripe stickers on.Don't be afraid to have a crack at it.As long as you don't damage anything beyond repair it's all good.If you need any advice just ask Sarge.

245/60/14.They are real old school Bridgy 60's.A guy drove all the way from Rockingham to by them off me.They were a bit wide after I lowered the car 2 inches so I had to run 6mm spacers to keep them off the upper ball joint and radius the inside of the guards.

Was going to take some pics out in the sun today but the sun disappeared so I just took a couple in the shed.Gave it a polish and wax yesterday so thanks to Dan at Deadly for that.

Well I suffered a minor failure at Powercruise.During my second 20 minute Powercruise session the bearing in the alternator failed and also split the Gilmer belt in half.Easy and cheap to fix but the worst thing is the alternator was the newest part on the car.
Obviously use cheap bearings.
You can see in the pic that the belt is only half as wide as it should be.

Ahh thats crap. But the XW looked great, sounded glorious as you floored it into the esses. Great work
