Yay.Got the tracking number for my new rims today.They have left Cleveland Ohio.Visited Toledo and are now en-route to Chicargo

Yeh Wills I'm really looking forward to getting them.Going to ba a challenge to get 17's to fit under the old girl as she is pretty low but it will be worth it to get some decent rubber.

Yay rims are here Now I have to try and find tyres that will fit inside the guards.
So far Bridgstone Potenza Adrenalins are the front runner.
245/40/17 for the front and 255/40/17 for the rear.
I'll have to bolt a rim on and measure it all up

Some good news to come out of today.I can confirm the brakes are at last officially fixed and the parts I need for the steering are readilly available so the XW is not far off being 100% again.YAY!!!!

Update.Here is a pic of the new Torque Thrust II rims.Looks a bit odd wiyh the car on jacks but it gives you an idea what they will look like.
