well I'd thought of looking at Wolf after seeing them in a few HPI magazines that mysteriously made their way into my house......

But I've been told that the tuners here absolutely resent them for some reason, and I've heard nothing but "oh my god, the EMS stinger is so easy"

*shrug*

the tuners here in west aussie are just too lazy to learn how to tune them they all only want to tune apexi power f/c coz its an idiot ecu

that the one over in your avatar? interesting looking front bar if it is!

Carlisle isn't too far from me, might go and pay him a visit at some stage and have a chat... is he very busy? I usually consume a fair bit of time with question after question trying to understand things better haha.

jais from what i seen.
EMS tuning done at OVABOOST... he has tuned plenty of turbo 4.0L falcons with ems. Stevoperths 500hp falcon etc he cant speak high enough of ovaboost.

well after seeing that thing and how nuts that is (and still looks fairly reliable) I might give them a go...

What are you going to run in yours Carl? I think I remember something about an EMS-8860?

1 thing to keep in mind with my car - I only specified that it'd be Forced, never said turbo....... if it'd matter with ecu's.

eed-250- 07-11-2007
either way ur better off with an aftermarket performance ecu.
i alreadyu have the 8860 in mine mate.

Xran- 07-11-2007
oh ok, did you DIY that jobbie or get someone else to do it?

How much do you think I'll be looking at to get it done?

nah its just standard nismo N1 front bar on it.
yes they are fairlybusy but they are willing to talk and give out info
any good workshop should be willing to take the time to answer any questions you have

thanks for the help guys - I've made my mind up on what's getting done though and the SCT chip will do me nicely for now... and I think I've decided to stay N/A for the time being too, will see what happens. I've been told the eliminator can handle low boost anyway so it'll probably do for what I want tongue.gif

Also West Racing in Ossie Park ...talk to Tim Slako.

Yeah, most WA performance shops don't wanna know Wolfs.

I've heard Top Racing mentioned here and there ...definitely another for me to remember wink.gif
