should fit easy I have a xp that I have retired from active service that had a efi 250alloy head for a while then when back to carby.
you might find the water pump comes extreamly close the the radiator might have to have a 13" on the outside of the radiator blowing though.
fuel pump you can get a external pump (vn wagon)or aftermarket mount near the back and add a extra line for a return line I ended up bending factory xf fuel lines replacing the xp line.
engine mounts ended up using the xp mounts and bolting 2 of the 3 bolts but wouldnt be hard to make a custom mount.
gearbox 1st two boxes bw swapped the housing over so could use the xp mount 3rd box customised xf style and a adapted it, cant quite remember been some years.
diff you can get valliant centura swap the brakes and leaf mount and usualy 2.92 or lower and falcon centers fit went though around 3 centers.
should be able to use factory exhaust mainfolds I even had xe extractors with couple of modificatons with a oxy and hammer.
I had to trim some that brace out to clear the xf efi intake but the eb intake seems to be a lot lower.

Thx 4 the info xf351gt I'm putting a xf, xe radiator in it, with twin fans on the outside. The brace has been modified (very proffessionally i might add ) by previous owner. The diff i beleive is a cut down 3.25 xb or xc (it has the large centres). It has disc brakes on the front with small centres, which i'm swapping 4 xf. The parts i'm stuck on, 1 Wiring ie ecu 2 Fuel pump & return Though i'll definatly use your method thanks again

did the drum to xt solid disk to xf later on just before retiring the car. best mod ever did that and the doing all the bushs and springs, use to handle better than the sigma daily at the time.
from memery there was only around 5 or 6 wires connecting the xf efi to the xp harness, the eb least has the intake on the lhs main job for was moving the battery cause the airbox on the rhs, never could get the xf efi to run well ended up being 2 dud distiputors that found out 3 years later, hence the 350 holley.
should try finding early eb I or ea multipoint ecu and harness then not have the hassle of smartlock issues.
this is the sorry state of the underbonnet of mine, have the prevous efi ecu hole.
