Powercruise 15 Thread

Ok Peoples....

Perth Falcons is Looking at putting a club entry into Powercruise 15 to be held @ Barbagallo Raceway on the weekend of 11th and 12th October 2008.

We need to gauge members response to this and need to finalise numbers ASAP as the entry forms are released on the 14th July so if you would like to enter under the club banner please put you interest into the thread below.

* above is what i am about to post in the upcoming events section was thinking about adding if you car is of a stock nature(only has cold intake and exhaust ect) please dont add name what do people think on that?

pretty much, looking for people who have taken pride in there car, and can represent some good and decent cars from the club. if it has just got mags and an exhaust, and nothing else thats special to it, then put them toward the bottom of the list. also need to find out if theres a maximum of entries per club, like 10 or so. People then put forward there cars, we have a quick look at em and maybe go from there?

so no one thinks adding some criteria into it is not harsh?

dont want to come along as a wanker you know but we dont want to have what is down the local servo/maccas putting the club name out also.

yea i know what you mean, but we dont want it turning out like motivation either... like 15 stock Crumpledores with mags... look at people like yaself biggav, and you elmo, who have modified not only the exterior, but engine mods, to walk the walk.

Maybe we could pm or email people who we know have cars that are up to scratch and invite them? Like Lee (green XD), that Towie guy, imprteta ect. If they not already going they may think about it. Coz some of these people don't come on here much and may miss it.

Iam thinking to get everyone on the event list together for filling out forms and handing over entry cash on the night of 14th july so we can be sure we have seized all opportunity to get the forms in early

due to the fact that ash(feralwagon) has alerted me to gup stating on the Silvia WA website that as it seems that they have got into gear that he will make sure that they "get looked after" bugger that im sure its not first come first served if thats the case

straight of the Powercruise site:

The Pre Entry price of $120 ends 18th August 2008.
After this date, the cost to Pre Enter will be $180 which ends on the 26th September 2008.
Entries never close in fact you can even enter on the day if you wish.
The price for Entry after 26th September 2008 up until and including on the day will be $240. This can only be done at the accreditation office on the day so don’t wait till the last minute, get in early and save your money for the tyres your gunna rip up over the weekend.

Cheers for the opoprtunity to contrubute to the club a little more. I have sort of sat in the back benches and havnt realy met alot of the members of the club. Will make a real effort to get to know everyone.

I have been talking alot to gavin about the powercruise event. And I think we are going prety well so far on the organising side of things.

I think we have safely stayed away from the bunkys coming along. Might have been a bit intimedating for them seeing who is already on the list. There is a good mix of models and engine configurations.

The main problem we will have is getting all the money and enterance forms in on the monday night. But the plan we have should pull together just fine. Thats if everyone can make the meeting.

On another note...

Carl aka eed-250 cannot enter with us in the club entry.

I've got pm's from him being a cocksmoker and I wont have his wanker PES shit carrying on at our events simple.

If we do get a site we need to organise a decent size tent for the back of the display for us PF guys to take refuge form the mayhem outside and chill out. I was thinking if we had the big tent at the back of the display and all the cars in formation infront of the tent that would work well. Just remember that we need to make it easy for prople to get there cars out easy. So they can attend any driving events. We could also get a small tent just for peoples stockies, tools and fuel containers. So it reduces the clutter in the display with not having wheels and cantainer eerywhere.

Im babaling on now hehe.

with the tent idea for the PF people, im sure we can source some of those gazzebo (camping style) type open tents, just to get outta the sun under. i know i havent looked at the map as of yet, but with club entreis where abouts do they get put? close to the pits or somewhere around that area? one of those sheds in the pit area would be tops.
