Thought i'd post up some pics of my 1992 XF Ute:

How i got it:


Already had Lukey Sports exhaust and was slightly lowered, the pedal box was broken so it was the first thing i fixed, and i drove around with out a tailgate for 6 months as the one on it took a hit at the car yard.

How it stands today:

I've replaced the headgasket, and had had a bit of headwork done, lowered it a bit more, replace the tail gate and tonneau, installed a decent head unit and speakers, made up a guage panel in the centre console. more noticable is the up grade from the el hubcaps to a set of FTR's on 245 rubber.











Things have been slow until recently, only last weekend, i picked up a parts car with a low kay motor and t5 which will be swapped out soon.

Also, i am building a new street/race motor at the moment, just waiting for the machinist to have some spare time...

the motor will have:
Mild street cam, 40thou 18cc Pistons, race rods, balance crank and i'll be trying my hand at cleaning up the head my self. Hoping for a torquey reliable motor as this is my daily... as well as maybe seeing a bit of the strip/circuit.

I remember the days of owning a xf ute looks way better than my old xf mine was early xf not that anything changed exept emissions.


have a set of tail lights sell if you ever need any the factory style with the clear white indicator and red brake/tail adr only aproved version for $50 if you ever need any brand new in still in the box.

I also would be putting some rubber pipe cut in 1/2 taped over the Accelerator cable.
the heat of the motor and extractors use to melt mine regually with your new motor give it a week during summer also be sheald the aircon rubber pipe.

use go though round two/three each xf till had to mod them.
