was upgrading my old (current turbo), but to fit the new front turbine, i needed to get a longer shaft + machine out rear housing + modify the centre "seal" section of the turbo to suit the new shaft.

so ive gone "f*** that"


so yeh im looking for a cheap Garrett/Airesearch T04e
- bush bearing
- T4 flange
- it can even have blown oil seals.

im gonna rebuild it and put the larger compressor housing and the 66mm front turbine wheel on it
so thats why the condition isnt too important (as long as the shaft and rear turbine are good )


ive seen good condition T04e's (with minimal to no shaft play) go for $500... so yeh.

if anybody has one spare they wanna sell, or know of somebody selling on.. let me know asap

Try ebay, there is a place selling new ones on there cheep as. the seller is gic_pty_ltd they are ment to be at cost price. $246.00 and $36.00 for postage.

ok thats kool, just saw it the other day when i was scouring for cortina parts. keep an eye on ebay tho sometimes you can find a bargain.
