Painting those lights looks sweet, gives it a much cleaner, sharper look. hmmmm might have to poach that idea...

Yeh need to buy the insert for the bumper. It costs 90 bucks though. What a rip off and thats not genuine ford. In the end it will look exactly like it did befor the bumper fell off. Would love to get the supercar bumper but at $1300 its just a bit too dear atm.

Yeh have seen those Whipple supercharger kits. Only problem is they make them so tall. You can fit anything under the bonnet of a F150. But in the falcons there isnt that much room. Also look at the kit Saleen have for the 3v. Best looking kit I have ever seen. Only prob is that its for the 4.6l not the 5.4l. I am looking to spend about 10 grand maybey a little more if I find the right intercooled kit. I will also ring Mark at Marks Workshop to see what Vortek have to offer.

The lights look great man. I've seen a few XR6T's from over east with painted lights, funnily enough both of them were orange in colour (I think ones a sedan and ones a ute).

Definitely slap up pics once the bumper is painted, and don't worry those photos aren't too big!

Sweeet. Love it. There is a xr6t show car over there too that has done it. In a custom orange colour. That is what gave me the idea do it.

Pay for it to be painted and hey presto its done. Dont have the cash just yet to get it painted. But its on top of my to do list.

I might paint the after market chrome lights I have on the rear white too. Dont think anyone has ever done that before. Its good to be different.

Yeah I've never seen that done before. If you want a photoshop preview of it just slap up a decent quality photo if its ass end and i'll do my best.

I have decided to paint the rear aftermarket lights white too.

A few pics. I cant beleve the s*** sealent they use to hold the clear plastic to the light. I just put a screwdriver between the two and it just fell out.




This is all there is to it. No clips or anything holding it on just dodgy glue.





And all ready for painting on the weekend.






Will post pics of it when its all done. For now I wont be painting the black outline part of the lights. But if it looks odd then I will paint them.
