Most of the stuff on the list I was aware of. But a few things im not so shure of. Didnt realise it would add up to the amount it did. Bit of a shock.

But was good to drive it. Drop it down from 2nd to 1st and wheel spin down the road I go. And the sound from the blower is realy cool. Didnt get to give it a realy good drive so it will still be a learning experiance when I get it thats for shure. A little scary.

oh yeh forgot. I now need a new exhaust too. They recon some of the insides of the muffler and a cat blew out the back of the exhaust on the dyno.

Also they say that the engine would be good for about 360rwkw easy. But I have maxed out the stock 3v heads. New heads, exhaust, gear box are the next things on the list. Not neseseraly in that order.

Thats some good power. The yanks would make after market 3v heads? Hope you get the car back soon, thats just mean to tease you with all that power biggrin.gif

good work. Sounds like your going to be driving an animal with all that torque and power. Shame about the price tag, they should really only charge what they quoted for the job and if they needed to do extra work then they should let you know before continuing. Its gonna be worth the wait when they hand you the keys to your blown v8.

Awesome numbers there dude! She's gonna be one hell of a handful when you get her back.

Pitty about the bill though. They can be notorious for that. Especially not letting you know costs before they went ahead and done the extra work.

Thats the only problem with the 3-valves. Once you start pushing big numbers the heads become the restriction. The bloke with the "Fair Go" fairlane has the same issue with his centrifugal s/charged G220. The only real option you have isto fit XR8 heads, then that defeats the whole 3-valve thing and you may aswell have started out with an XR8.

Also i dont mean to offend, but what makes you think its a 430kw(575hp) engine? Theres no way it would loose 110kw(145hp) through the transmission etc.
I know some people say "The old rule goes, Rear wheel HP = Flywheel KW's" but that is actually quite a way off. If thats the case my ute is a potential 300-320kw engine ohmy.gif , which there is no way it is. It is around a 270kw (360hp) engine.
I'd say yours would be pushing just under 500hp(370kw) at the flywheel, which is still AWESOME numbers.

Cant wait to see it, and hear it, at Powercruise mate.

Yeh I was just working of the old saying. Rwhp = Fwkw. But if it if way off I will change the fuigures.


Yep I have maxed out the 3v heads. So If I want to tyr for more power I wold have to get some aftermarket ones. There a heaps of good aftermarket heads in the US.

I twisted BPT's arm and they let me have the car back early. But they have detuned it and are holding onto my flash box.

But f*** it still pulls like a motherf***er. Scares the shit out of me.

Caught up with some of the lads last night and we had a few joy rides. I think Damon needs some new undies. I think it went like this Quote "thats stupid".

Cant wait to see what it will be like full power.
