haha nah, i understand the delays, i only started working on the bedford again this week....

what you want is some petrol resistant silicon or thread sealer as opposed to tape, it wont perish, or melt.
then you can focus on more important things, like removing panels to reduce weight..

Reducing weight is a goal in this build. No subs or stereo in her this time. And full fiberglass front end is going on. Front bar, bonnet and front quarters are all fiberglass. Even if it doesnt reduce the weight im getting them anyway haha.

The real killer in the way of money in this build is going to be the body kit. GT side skirts, full front end, typhoon rear bar, djr bobtail or gt rear spoiler. And at the end of the day im still keeping the xt headlights. But im in a good position to be able to spend a bit now so why not.

And still not shure what wheels to get. Its either some kick ass deep dish S2 20" or some light weight 18" racing alloys. Can get either ones at the drop of a hat. Just cant make up my mind. Im thinking more the 20" rims. Because im going to get a set of drag rims front and rear as soon as she is all done and enialate that 11 second pass.

Its still bugging me. Because the car could be in the pannel beater for 4 weeks whilst im working away at the moment. But a stupid screw set it all back.

maybe you should just get the towies to pick up the car and take it to the panelbeaters, then fix the fuel leak when you get back..
plus you'll get back to a sleek body wink.gif

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeh na.

Was going to get a quote from these guys first and see if they could fit it in hopefully straight away.

Not naming any names of pannel beaters because dont want this thread filled with all that "hes better than them shit".

So yeh will just wait till I get back. Plus then I will have another 12k to spend on her hehehe. Would like to build the engine and upgrade the heads and also the blower to a kenne bell or Whipple. Push a few more PSI and shoot for that 400rwkw. Or at least more than gmkiller, haha I will always out torque you though (where still friends right, good). Plus BPT has some very tricky carbon fibre rear ends and drive shafts that look the goods too.

But got too get her lookin the goods first. But hey anyone who knows me well enough knows if I want something I will probably buy it. Just look whats sittin on top of the engine. I used to only dream of that shit.
