Yeh I love a good burnout. Its even better if its in your own car. Love going down the drags too. If im going to do a burnout I make sure I do it properly as u have probably seen. Everybody loves to see a deacent burnout am I not wrong.


Cheer guys for all your positive coments about my car. I hope you like it just as much as I do. There will be quite afew mods still to come. Like 3.7 or 4.10 diff gears, 3000 hi-stall, underdrives, thermostat, hopefully better coldair setup. If all goes to plan I should be doing low 13sec passes in streat trim and mid 12sec passes in race trim.

It's one of the best looking xt's I'v'e seen and it goes bloody quick as well as I found out.

Im so sad. LIONHUNTR is sick. I have lost 40rwhp and no one knows y. I got it dinod at xtreme ford tuning and it read the same as MCE did. I then took it straight away to BPT because they did my custom flash tune, and they dont know whats wrong either. They said that maybe because I put a big custom air intake on it I might have upset the air fuel ratio or somthing. I might have to get it custom dinod to suit the intake. Not happy because the custom tunes arnt cheap. Geez 40 hp is alot to loose. I can realy feel it. That would explain my bad times at the drags too. BPT are going to put it on the scaner to see if there is anything else that could be causing the loss in power. So I will have to wait and see. Hopefuly it isnt a big problem.

Oh I take back what I said about MCE's dino. It was my car not them. Sorry.

Wow, if it is the intake, that is a massive loss. All you did was change the I/D of the pipe didnt you? I can see where they are saying that it may mess up the AFM. What if you flashed it back to stock, then flashed the Custom tune back in. See if that wont fix anything. I can feel a little difference when i do this with mine. It seems to relearn mixtures air temp and so fourth. Its worth a shot i cant see you losing anything. And its also good to see that MCE's dyno is configured along the same lines as APC's

Cheers mate. I didnt even think of that. I will try it straight away and see. Yeh I thaught it was a huge loss for just a bigger intake tube. If anything I thaught it would gain afew kw.

If u still have the old intake maybe try that aswell?could be running a little lean if its getting all that extra air?

Still 40hp is a heap of power to loose!

Got the center muffler cut out of my exhaust. Sounds like a v8 should sound now. My car is going in this saturday to get that 40 rwkw back. So shoul;d be good to go cruising. Whens the next one. Im having withdrawls. Want to go cruising
