shift kit will NOT give you more power
faster harder shifts only =better acceleration

bbm will help torque

the full exhaust with the k+n panel will help
5-10 hp there
and cam f*** the choices are endless

and also depends on the condition of your current engine
if it is worn not worth the effort
if it in good nick go for it

ef-el BBM are a good choice. Might get 5hp? And bit of torque. Shiftkit as Frank said will harden shifts up, be careful if you have an old gearbox though, and dont leave it on all the time. Full exhaust can get you 25-40hp. These are rough estimates. Cam can be anything, as theres so many. Pod or panel filter... pod might get you a horsy panel prob nothing. If you mean your upgrading the whole intake piping like alot of people do then a bit more.

You wont get anywhere near 200rwkw

Brand new 3v 5.4l v8 falcons only get about 170rwkw.

With those mods and the age of your car dont be suprised if you get around 120rwkw probably even less.

With stage 3 crow cam full exhaust and extractors, salloon car head shaved 80thou with crow tappets and lifters and was running a k&n pannel filter with 4sp auto I only got about 120rwkw. And that was a El falcon. Was shocked at first but than got it tuned with unichip and changed a few different things in the electrical and mechanical side of things we managed more.

So yeh dont go looking for big power unless you want to do a full rebuild and turbo setup.

Mine is at about 135rwkw with an xr6 head and cam. XH intake and a full exhaust. (mine is manual and has a low kay, good condition bottom end)

Use a decent cam, exhuast, intake and tune id say you could get close to 140rwkw with the auto but it depends on so many things.

How much are you willing to spend? Dont even bother with turbo gear unless you have a decent budget.

With an auto those mods might sneak u into a 14 but id doubt it.
Manual conversion would give you the best 'speed' increase out of all of them.

my EF made 133.2 rwkw (179 rwhp) with limited mods
Auto - with shiftkit
Wade 1636 cam
pacemaker 4480s
2.5" lukey exhaust
K&N panel filter

and it was running like a pig (needed a tune). so 140rwkw in an AUTO i6 is definately possible smile.gif

and really easy with a manual

My XT made 185rwkw and ran a 14.6 quarter mile. The I6 is capable of pretty decent figures although the BA six is not the same as earlier versions.

shit what exhaust gets that sort of power from an i6?

i think i got 10hp max from a full system on a low km AU engine

maybe 40hp with all the mods combined

Yeh I only got 25rwhp on my 3v. replacing the stock exhaust and headers with Difilippo extractors and full twin 2.5" exhaust.

I had a au xr6 motor in my xg ute, had extractors, hi flow cat, sports mufflers, 2.5 inch custom mandrel bent exhaust, pod filter, xg computer, xg intake. Made 118rwkw (159rwhp) with a tune would have been much more.

im not planning on chucking a turbo on it any time soon so just looking at getting some more power to the wheels i will be upgrading the diff and gearbox because i think they are on the brink of destruction. i already have the k&n panel filter and 2.5inch lukey exhaust but no extractors
