Hi guys; new to the forum + I've been adding a few things to the wanted + for sale section so I thought you may like to know what its all in aid of!

I bought myself this XD 6 years ago + its about to go through a rebuild over the next few years. I've owned an XD 351 Interceptor + XE 351 S-Pac in the past but had to sell them when I went to uni (actually, someone wrote my Interceptor off - lets not talk about it though...). I've always loved the XD's after being driven to high school in my mates dads 500hp XD back in the early 90's when fuel was cheap! He was a member of the local hotrod club and had a rod + an XY in the build which fueled our desire. There was always a driveway full of mates cars and rods as they got together to help each other out. Finally got another one after I finished uni and finished buying a house. I spent a while looking for one + ended up importing this XD from Brisbane after I couldn't find a good one over here. She still needs a bit of work but thats the fun of having a project! She's a matching numbers 1979 T-Code 351 C4 XD Ex-Interceptor. All of the go fast bits + pieces are in boxes waiting to be put in - I just need the time to teach myself how to pull an engine apart! Hopefully I can get it out to a cruize sometime soon.

Looks very nice and the engine bay is one of the cleanest I've seen too. Look forward to seeing it on a cruise. Are you going to the Charity cruise next Fri night ? I'll have my XD there so you can see the Cragars if you are coming.

Andy.

yeah haha, still looks really clean though mate. can't wait to see you make it even better.

Wish I had've taken a photo of my ute when the needle stopped moving... but at that speed I was more interested in the bellowing 347 and the road feeling like the razor's edge haha
