I hate when someone says "make me an offer" because there's so much room for interpretation as to what it's 'worth' as you know.

A few things you need to find out before you make this offer are:

Matching numbers? - is it original 351 or manual? (as 9" is not original)

If it's a factory 351/4speed XE ESP then with good paint and a bit worn interior then 5-10k as it sits there.

If it was originally something else (like a 6 cyl) then even though it's a nice car being an ESP, it's really not worth much more than any other converted XE GL or SPack.

An immaculate, genuine 351/4speed, silver over charcoal XE ESP could fetch up to and over $20,000.

Additionally, there's reproduction seat material available in kit form for the Grey XE ESP trim which makes things easier.

Last of all, just to confirm it is an ESP and all the numbers/options match the ONLY way is to ring 13FORD and read them out the body/serial number. Takes 5 minutes and you don't need to be the owner for over-the-phone info.

Just my 5c.

David.

how bad depends on how bad some that some center fabric on esp would be next to imposable to find,
standed retrims had 2 seats top of 3" strip on top of the rear seat wear was sun damaged and two door trims done for $600 years ago now would be over $1000 just in standed vinal, would say the esp fabric would push the price up if its still available.

roof lining would be around $100-150

just make shough its a genuine esp & v8 before making a overpriced offer otherwise you bought a copy worth under $5000.

if its genuine and just what you desribed sounds like a good buy could be worth over $10,000.

Sorry Andrew, exactly what I was talking about, interpretation (not a bad thing at all though so no offence).

As an owner of one of these rare beasts, and one of the best combo's, your input here would have a lot more truth and meaning behind it than mine so what do you think is more on the mark?
