In the panel shop? What for? When's it go in? I hope she's alright!
XH5LWEPN- 08-20-2009
Cheers Matt.
Chad, i pulled the rear bumper off last night. Dropping it in Saturday morning to get plastic welding done. Basically deleting the factory exhaust outlet and getting the tow-bar hole cover welded up and deleted. Once thats done the ute goes in to get the L/H rear quarter panel fully resprayed after i wrecked a tyre and the belts ruined that guard

Video? let's hear her :>

Ahhh, ok. Well I get back home on Tuesday and will be back for 2 weeks. Will she be out by then? Otherwise, 3 weeks after that and I'll be back for good, I think. Weather should be nicer by then as well. Might not have a license tho, so it could be a downer

Yeah i dunno Chad after talkin to Dave today. He said bumpr should be done by some time next week. Then hopefully his booth it fully installed and operating sometime next week so my ute can go in, so may have the ute back some time during the week of the 31st-5th hopefully. Looking at getting a little more work done too than i first planned. Will see how we go.

A little more work? Haha, that could mean a lot more work for you! We'll just play it by ear then.
XH5LWEPN- 08-22-2009
Haha. Nah will prob just look at getting inside the tray resprayed and some plates laser cut out to go in there. Anyway, im back to the shed. Got an engine swap in progress

Well hoping to get the ute back on the week of the 31st to the 5th has been blown out of the water lol. Had a msg from Dave on Thursday saying he'll be ready for the ute this week, so hopefully it'll go in mid-week and may have it back the following.
Hadnt driven the thing since i picked it up from Doms 3 odd weeks ago, as like 2 days after i got it back i pulled the rear bumper off to get done. Couldnt take it any longer so i took it out yesterday with no rear bar and no rear number plate. Definately got my fix thats for sure. So F******G loud at WOT now, love it.
Got two new 17" tyres fitted to the EL GT's so they'll go back on for a while as im still waiting on 2 more Sumitomo 19's for the BF wheels.

Got the ute back yesterday. Only got chance to take a crappy pic tonight. Will try get some better ones over the weekend.
Spot the difference?

Insane Jeff, that's just the hottest ute on earth, love the look of it and the work that's gone into it. It's just right.
Dave.

Cheers man. Not happy with that pic though. Its not doing the wheels justice. They look SOO much better on it in the flesh.
So can u spot the difference?
