XH5LWEPN- 03-08-2008
G'day Guys,

Just signed up today after the hot tip by schnoods when i seen him at the "Plex on wednesday night.

Anyway, im sure most of you have seen/heard/know about this ute from other forums but for those who dont i will give a quick run down on it. I'll just put up a spec sheet to make it nice and simple and easier to read.

Basically its a 1999 XHII XR8 ute,185kw 5spd manual. I bought it in late July 2006 from a bloke out in Corrigin. It was a bog stock example with the only mods being a new centre exhaust section and CD player. It had 108,000k's on it, which i thought wasnt bad, but the front end was badly damaged by stonechips etc, other than the red dust that was the only bad points.

So since then to this day it has still only done a measely 118,000k's but has had a major heart transplant, well if we put it that way its had almost every organ transplanted. Here is a run down of the whole ute.

Bloody sexy looking ute!

you've got me looking to buy XH utes now!! Would love to drop my donk in one.

You used to have a 65mm TB didnt you? I changed my 65mm to 70mm, then had it tuned by BPT. Made 200kws, but i've noticed its a lot more sluggish off the line sad.gif

I'm thinking about changing back? How do you find your setup? (i have similar sort of mods to you)

Cheers mate,

once again - great looking ride.

mUTHA- 03-09-2008

Yep i was running 65mm before i changed to 70mm. I did notice a loss of throttle response down low but then again it gained abit up top.
