Yes there is rust, as skitzophreNic has pointed out, however i have had one of those places fixed up. The drivers side front wheel guard had alot of cancer cut out and is spotless.

The other (rear tyre guard on same side) hasnt had the same treatment and has a few holes along it, but thats the only bad rust on the car. You will find a few patches here and there but its just surface, to be expected on an x series model.
