anyone know if there is any difference in the wiring loom for the 6 and the 8? I am aware that the engine harness would be different, but is the engine bay wiring the same up until the 2 big engine plugs?

mat, the harness that runs behind the dash and the main loom from battery etc is all the same, the difference is the engine harness from the motor to them two plugs, then also into the car with the computer loom is different.

You'll also find there is no tcm on the ef onwards models for the 6, so your current one would need to be spliced in.

Unlikely as it is a 6 cyl. Although I think the V8's, Fairlane Ghias and Sportsmans did.

I have a Blue NF Fairylane sitting at my old man's place, we're thinking of parting it out.
